Yesterday, after two weeks of difficulty in working with iCloud on Outlook, I attempted to revert the system back to its pre-iCloud state by doing the following:
- Unticking Calendars, Contacts and Tasks in the iCloud program on my computer.
- Toggling Calendars, Contacts, Tasks and Notes off in my iPhone’s Settings.
- Disabling the iCloud Outlook add-on.
- In Outlook, transferring all of m Contacts from iCloud Contacts to My Contacts / Contacts (i.e., back to my local PST file).
However, many of my Contacts were not transferring. I would select them in the middle pane and then drag them over to Contacts in my local PST file. Some would move over; others required me to attempt to drag them several times before they would budge; yet others would not move over, no matter how many times I attempted to drag them over.
I even tried selecting the Contacts and then going to the Home ribbon | Actions group | Move and selecting Contacts (in the local PST file), but these would not move.
How can I force these Contacts to move over to my local .PST file?
