Outlook.com sync error to Outlook 2010

not sure if this is the right place to post this but I keep getting this error:Task 'xxxx@outlook.com' reported error (0x8004102A) followed by:

Task'xxxx@outlook.com' reported error (0x800CCE05) : 'Synchronization error.' I eventually get my Outlook.com emails but not immediately. is there a setting I need? if I have not posted tot he correct forum thread just let me know.
 
There is not a setting you need to change, but if the problem just started, I'd wait a couple of days before doing anything - the Microsoft sites are having "issues". I know outlook.com logins were not working for some people and the forums were not accessible.
 
Still having problems. Can't get some calendar entries to sync with outlook.com. Seeing "limited Connectivity" at bottom of calendar window.
 
one more piece of the puzzle....if I copy the entry to my Hotmail.com calendar it syncs! This is usually the other way....Hotmail.com calendar entries don't sync to outlook.com entries.
 
Entries in Hotmail calendar are not syncing to Outlook.com calendar in Office 2010 on Windows 7. They sync everywhere else: android, ipad, Office 365 on Windows 8. Receiving error above. Emails and contacts are working fine on W7 device and everywhere else.....this is a problem with just the calendar.
