Any idea where these emails may be going?
Email account is setup for Comcast.NET IMAP but not defined at outlook.live.com
Periodically, the following behavior presents with emails from different email addresses
- Test 1- Positioned in Outlook
- An incoming email very briefly appears in the Inbox, then quickly disappears
- It's as if a rule fired and moved it to another folder, but there are no rules defined
There is no sign of the email; not in Trash, Spam or after a through search, any other folder- There is no sign of the email in any folder on the Comcast (Xfinity) web mail site
- Any emails from the subject email address also disappear, however, they have been received in the past
- The subject email address is not in the Outlook Blocked Senders
- The Outlook View has no filters defined and for the Outlook account, other Outlook sessions are open
- Test 2- Positioned in the browser at the Comcast (Xfinity) web mail site
- Outlook on the desktop has been closed
- Same email (from same source address and with same content) is re-sent, appears in the Inbox and remains
- Desktop Outlook is then opened
- Email comes in to Outlook and remains in Inbox
- Email remains in Comcast Inbox until deleted from Outlook Inbox (as expected)
Any idea where these emails may be going?
