how to stop junk emails from *.onmicrosoft.com ?

I have Microsoft 365 on home personal PC, Windows 10 64 with Microsoft Outlook 365 for MSO 32 bit. A few weeks ago, I upgraded to family license to add another family person also Windows 10. Since then (not sure if this is related or not), I have been getting 5-10 or more spam emails every day, all from various email addresses ending with @*. onmicrosoft.com. (Note, various characters instead of the *).

Outlook is correctly moving all these .onmicrosoft.com emails to the Junk E-mail folder. But why do I keep getting them? I'm not replying to any of the junk emails, just deleting them.
Any ideas or suggestions appreciated.

I am having the very same issue: receiving 10-20+ spam email from domain ONMICROSOFT to my Xfinity (Comcast) email.

While they are do go to my spam folder, I want them to stop.
Please ... Any help? Thanks.
 
Does comcast have a junk reporting tool? That might be the easiest way to stop them - Microsoft will close the account if there is too much spam coming from it. (But another will likely pop up in its place.)

Unless comcast web mail has a filter that can block them, the only way would be rules in Outlook to delete them - but that won't work if they are in the junk folder already. You could mark the onmicrosoft.com domain as safe - then use a rule to delete them, assuming outlook is doing the moving.

In Outlook - look in the junk mail folder - in the InfoBar under the subject area, does it say outlook marked them as spam? If not, they may have been moved by comcast filtering.
