Contacts not syncing due to Outlook Connector

I have Outlook Connector syncing my Hotmail with Outlook 2003. The Inbox and Contacts sync great, but when I try to sync with my smartphone (via Activesync) only the Inbox and calendar sync. I never get an Activesync error...just no contacts move.




I supsect it's Outlook Connector that's causing the problems since it created two Contact folders in Outlook - one from my imported PST file (from my work PC) and one from Hotmail. I don't see any place in Outlook Connector to tell it to not sync my Hotmail Contacts with Outlook (to only sync the Inbox) so there would be only one Contact folder in Outlook. It there such a setting? And I don't see a setting in Activesync to specify which Contacts folder to pick up/sync.




Help please...my smartphone in the meantime has NO contacts on it.

ActiveSync only syncs the default folders and from what others have said, activesync will not sync with the connector account.




(I have a blackberry, not a windows mobile phone, so i don't have experience with it.)
 
BTW - There is no setting in Outlook that controls which folders sync - Active Sync uses the default pst. There are settings in ActiveSync to control what syncs - you can set it to only sync calendar and inbox or only certain categories.

Yeah...I have clicked on Contacts in Activesync and tried to right click on Settings, but it is greyed out. But it looks like Contacts should sync...still they don't. Argh.
