Restoring who tasks were assinged to

I had to restore tasks and activities, but each task is assigned to a contact...and now it is not there.Any ideas please?
 
If you open the task, is the contact listed in the contact folder but not underlined/linked? If so it needs relinked.




If you don't see the contact field, go to tools, Options, Contact options and enable contact linking. Clicking in the field and pressing enter should cause it to resolve, but if you have many tasks, it's too time consuming. Let me look for some code to speed it up...
