I have two computers here set up identically. Both are Outlook 2010 connected to the same exchange server in exactly the same way - with cached mode. They are using different accounts. One account's OST is about 1.2gigs. One is about 1.7gigs.
The first computer reports "All folders are up to date.", no matter where I click - all folders are populated, everything has downloaded properly.
The second computer reports "This folder is up to date.", no matter where I click - but some folders have not downloaded. I have to manually go around clicking every folder to get them to download, then the little progress bar shows up at the bottom and it downloads the 12.2mb or whatever that the folder contains. The "Send/Receive All Folders" button does not appear to do anything. Leaving the machine sitting overnight did nothing - it is still not cached properly.
Any theories as to why? Is there a way to compare the # of email on the server with the # of email in the OST, or some way of getting an accurate picture of what has been cached and what has not?
