At work, we have Outlook 2013 installed on our computers with Exchange server. At my "main" desk, I'll open up te Outlook application to work with my email and calendar.
When I am at another desk, I often use our provided web app to access my Outlook email. I'll get reminders pop up when I'm in the web app, but I can't deal with them because I'm not at my main desk. But I'm not sure if I should dismiss the local pop-up, or snooze it for some hours, or what, because I don't know how I'm going to affect the reminder's behavior back at my desk.
So I'm wondering if these reminders are local to the machine or the instance of OL, whether web app or MS application? Or are they global, and a dismissal in the web app will also dismiss the copy "back home"? Since I can see my calendar through the web app, I would assume (though I've never tried it) that anything I do here affects the calendar globally. That would seem, then, that dismissing a reminder here would likewise affect the calendar globally?
