Reminders or Notifications for Internet Calendars

I think I already know the answer but is there a way to have subscribed calendars (Google Calendar more specifically) show notifications or reminders in outlook 2010?
 
No. The subscribed calendars are read only so you can't set a reminder in outlook. if there is a reminder set in google and the reminder syncs, it should fire in outlook. I just can't remember if the reminder is included in a subscribed calendar - its been awhile since i subscribed to a calendar.
