Imported Tasks - Pop Up does not work

Hi

I have imported a number of tasks into Outlook 2010 (exchange) from Excel 2010.

All the fields populate correctly and the reminder box is checked as it should be however the reminder pop-up does not activate at the deignated time.

I exported the tasks list back to excel and the reminder value is showing as true.

Strangely hwoever, the reminder does pop-up on my Blackberry.

Would appreciate some assistance with this.

Are reminders enabled in Outlook? Do they work for appointments or tasks you create in Outlook? Did you try restarting Outlook using the /cleanreminders switch? That rebuilds the reminders folder.

Thanks for your response. Yes, reminders are enabled and they do work for tasks created directly in Outlook. In fact, if I import a reminder and turn it off and back on again before the alarm time, it will work.

I hadn't tried the cleanreminders swich before but have now done so and it did not solve the problem.
