I recently upgraded from Office 2010 to Office 365, and brought my Outlook settings and PST files along. All my accounts are POP3. I have about 10 small PSTs, the one that receives email is about 100mb and all are in the old 2gb limited format, but none are at all close to that size.
i am having lots of trouble with that main inbox PST getting corrupted. I will work a little and then Outlook announces that the PST is corrupt, and offers to run scanpst for me. I do, we rinse and repeat. I've run scanpst multiple times in a row until it says I'm ok, although it noted there is very minor corruption and suggests I can press a non-existing repair button to deal with that. Which is hard to do!
i've been stripping out add-ins; I have removed PK Peek and Techhit SimplyFile, as well as my AV add-in (Vipre) and right now the only add-in not part of office is GsyncIt, to Sync Outlook contacts and calendar with Gmail.
Tonight I ran scanpst until clean, started Outlook, closed it, and scanpst reported corruption and took a couple of passes to fix.
I'm trying to figure out how to proceed from here. Replace that PST and copy data to it? Rebuild the whole Outlook profile?
Suggestions?
