Outlook.com calendar no longer syncing with Blackberry

Hi Diane,

I help my colleague with some of the technical side of our work. A while ago we set him up with an Outlook.com calendar, which he was able to sync to his Blackberry. It's worked for months, but he always had to connect his phone to the computer in the evening to do the sync (because we couldn't get the outlook.com account onto his phone directly).

Anyways, his Blackberry calendar will no longer sync with the outlook.com calendar (on his computer). We tried going back into Blackberry Link to re-establish the calendar we want to sync with the Blackberry to no avail.

I don't have the blackberry in my hand, but if you can give me any ideas as to what to try, or if this is a common problem, I'd very much appreciate it!

Which Blackberry does he have? I'm not aware of it being a common problem - Outlook.com uses EAS to sync, new BB use EAS.. it should work over the air (unless he has an older BB).

He uses a BlackBerry 10 smartphone. Is there anything you suggest I try?

It's hard to say if the problem is with outlook.com (they've had problems recently) or with the blackberry software. Is the calendar syncing ok between outlook and outlook.com?

FWIW, it should sync over the air using EAS account type, as BB now supports it. If BB doesn't like outlook.com or Hotmail as an account type, choose exchange and use m.hotmail.com as the server address.
