send/receive no action

Hi to expert on Outlook,

I will try to be clear as I am french an using a french release of Outlook 2007. This is not obvious.

There is no action when I click on send / receive. In fact sending mail is OK but nothing in receiving. Afer a new installation of the whole Office 2007 with no update the problem is still there. So I have tried to go in the Send /receive parameter but when I try to click on Define groups for sending /receiving (Ctl Alt S) nothing happens. I didn't find any way to get into a redefinition to receive my mail from my provider (Pop3 server).

Is there a missing Key in the Register ?

I have found a way to get my message : first receiving the header then mark to download the mail then execute the action and finally I get it

Anybody to help me?

Sounds like you might be in offline mode and set to sync headers and messages marked for download.

Try deleting the SRS file.

Close Outlook. Type or paste the following line into the address bar of Windows Explorer and press enter to access it:

%USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

Restart outlook and see if it works. If not, I'll have to load a VM and check the settings available in Outlook 2007.
