My friend's Windows 7 computer running Outlook 2010 with iCloud stopped being able to sync the calendar to the cloud. And the Refresh button was missing from the toolbar. This happened about 6 months ago too. At that time I reinstalled iCloud but iCloud was unable to start, gave an error that I did not record. I then repaired the Outlook file and that fixed it. So when it happened again today, I did the Outlook repair again. I probably should have checked the calendar at that point, but I went ahead and decided to uninstall iCloud. But it would not let me, said I needed to be an admin, which I was. So I repaired iCloud instead. Now everything is fine again.
Any ideas what caused this again, and what we might do to prevent it in the future?
