IMAP - Sent Folder not sticking

Hi all
I have been annoyed by the following behaviour of outlook for several years.
My mail provider uses "SentMail" as the default place for sent messages, when I use webmail.
If I set "save sent items in the following folder on the server" to "SentMail" in my IMAP account, it may stick for a few days, but then it reverts to "Sent Items". "Sent Items" is a folder that my mobile phone uses and that was created on the mail provider's server as I was doing mail with my mobile phone.
Is there any way, I can make the "SentMail" folder stick.
Addendum: on some of my PCs, the "SentMail" folder does indeed stick, on some it reverts to "Sent Items" after a few days.

It should stick... Which version of outlook? Does it seem like outlook is rebuilding the data file? Make sure all windows updates are installed then reboot. Set the sent folder in outlook and reboot. See if that fixes it.
