Hello Community,

Windows 7 - Outlook 2013- Icloud version 3.0 -

Facing following problem: Need to activate each time the Icloud Addin in Outlook 2013

What can I do to keep this Addin resident in Outlookk 2013 ?

What's the way to tell Outlook 2013 to keep resident.

Help is Welcome.

It's getting disabled every time? Does Outlook say why its disabling it? Look in Event Viewer, if it doesn't mention it on File, Manage Addins.

It is possible to set a registry key to force outlook to always load it, but its better to solve the problem because outlook can override the registry if it was disabled because it caused Outlook to crash.

The error message sayhs it is causing outlook to crash -

deactivation reason: this add-in causes Outlook to crash. Policy exception

You can set a policy exception if it loads slow, but outlook can over ride policies for crashes.

Have you tried signing out of the iCloud them signing back in? That fixes some problems.

I managed to solve the isssue.

Solution which worked on my PC:

1 Connect to Outlook 2013 as Administrator

2 Disabled Icloud Addin

3 Closed Outlook and PC

4 Restarted PC and Outlook 2013 as Administrator

5 Reactivated Icloud Addin

6 Closed Outlook 2013 as Administrator

7 Restarted Outlook 2013 as normal User

8 And since than Icloud Addin works

Liked your reply thanks. My icloud outlook add-in enables until I close outlook, but indeed it has error message: "Apply DAV logging Enabled. This slows down outlook significantly. to disable logging delete the \ZppleDAVLog directory"
I dont understand this. can you please advise what to do?
