Tasks from some users show up as emails

Hello,

I have an issue where a user is getting tasks from another and the tasks do not show up as Tasks but as emails. If I send the same recipient a task, my task shows up as a task.

I have no clue what could be causing this. Anyone seen this one before?
 
Interesting theory. I'll take a look into that for sure and yes, everyone is on exchange.
 
on the sender's computer, have the sender prepare an email (or another task) to the person and then delete the autocomplete entry and select their entry from the GAL. Guess is they have a contact for the person and outlook assumes that means it's an internet address, not internal. (I've seen Outlook do the same with calendar sharing invites - using the autocomplete address fails but selecting from gal works.)
