Outlook 2010 32 bit

I know that Outlook 2010 only has 3 choices blue,silver and black. I had another thread but this is a different question. when I select blue the shaded area under appointments on the right side of my Outlook is a shade of blue, however when I select silver the shades don't change to a silver shade as it did before I had to reinstall Office 2010 even in Black when a email in the main body is highlighted it is blue.

Something is wrong I can live with Silver but a mix of siver and blue is driving me nuts
 
The calendar tab colors (and other highlight color) doesn't change? The calendar color is separate from the theme. Right-click on the calendar, choose color and select a different color.

That is great but still leaves me and I am sure many others thinking why just the calender but not the whole program of Outlook. Calender different colors but Outlook the whole interface Not so good of an idea.

WHY??
 
The calendar colors are really a separate issue from the overall theme colors. These colors are customizable for those who have multiple calendars - it makes it easy to see which calendar is which.
