Monday my Outlook 2007 and ICloud were working perfectly. Then I upgraded my Iphone and Ipad to the latest IOS (8.0.2). As a result, my outlook calendar (Icloud) disappeared. Coincidence? Maybe. But now, after repeated attempts, nearly 20 times, including deleting ICloud Control Panel, restarting computer, repairing
Outlook, nothing will allow me to re-establish my calendar. My calendar is my lifeline.
I can get Icloud Control to re-load and I follow the steps to coordinate the two programs exactly. Icloud Control asks for "all" or "some" calendars to install, and I select some, because there are numerous calendars which have zero info in them, like pocketmirror, so I de-selected these and checked only the ones showing data in them.
The "sync" starts, gets to step 4 of 7 (uploading contacts to Icloud then downloading from Icloud) then I get the message "Your setup couldn't be started because of an unexpected error" every time.
I don't understand how this can work fine for months, then all of a sudden not work, and then not be able to re-install.
The problem is, if Icloud won't run with Outlook, as it did for months, now I cannot find any of my calendar dates and events anywhere. If I can re-establish the past and future events that were already in my Outlook calendar, I would say, "the hell with ICloud" and move on.
I need assistance from anyone who has a solution. I am running Windows 8.1 (64 bit). Itunes is 32 bit (don't ask me why that is, but it is), I have no idea what ICloud is (can't find a way to determine this version), and Outlook 2007 is (12.0.6691.5000) SP3 MSO (12.0.6683.5000).
